Sarah Jessica Parker holds a torch for Rigaud candles

Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress who knows more than a little bit about style and the finer things in life, recently told Spanish style bible Telva, that Rigaud candles are number 1 on her list of favourite things. Rigaud has long been the candle of choice of the cognoscenti; devotees have included such luminaries as Jackie Onassis and Elizabeth Taylor.
Rigaud candles contain a very high percentage of perfume and only need to be alight for twenty minutes or so before flooding a room with fragrance. Even after they are blown out the molten oil will continue to release their distinctive aromas for some considerable time before drying evenly. Unlike many other candles Rigaud candles do not funnel, they also burn cleanly with no soot.

Bâtard Folding Picnic Knife by Lamson & Goodnow

As author of The Best Bread Ever; Charles Van Over is expected to show everywhere up with an armful of bread. Whilst Charles enjoys breaking bread with friends; he does insist that the bread is properly sliced with a breadknife, not just ripped apart.
