Trolley Good - the new Go-Up shopping trolley from Playmarket, Barcelona

With all of us shopping locally on the high street and at farmers’ markets, more and more of us are using our cars less and less, so it was about time someone updated that vital trolling the shops bit of kit; the shopping trolley.

Whilst there are many makes on the market Roullier White searched far and wide to find what we considered to be the best shopping trolley around. The Go-Up trolley from Barcelona ticks all the boxes. It is strong, durable, ergonomic and most importantly, with its suave Spanish styling, it has street cred.

With over 40 years experience manufacturing some of the world’s finest buggies, Playmarket ES turned it attention to redesigning the shopping trolley. Listening to the comments of their thousands of satisfied customers; as mothers of toddlers, the one thing mums miss is shopping with their buggies. Focusing on the features of pushchairs which make them easy to maneuver, front swiveling wheels, adjustable height handle, push me / pull me handling, wide chassis with four wheels; the Go-Up was born.

At £125 there are cheaper trolleys on the market and also many of lesser calibre that are far more expensive, however, we believe the Go Up trolley to be the best on the market, and boy have we seen some trolleys!

40 litre capacity
10 litre thermal bag for hot or frozen food

Saw this in action in Venice last month, and talked to the lady who owned it. We agreed that it beats the usual pull-me trolley you see everywhere in venice; she takes it on and off the vaporetti, up and down steps over bridges, and up three flights of stairs to her flat. It is EXACTLY what is needed to get us all shopping on foot
