Creed Launches Aventus; Its First Men's Fragrance in 5 Years

The House of Creed will have passed from father to son for 250 years this A/W and to celebrate, the current father and son ‘noses’, Olivier and Erwin Creed, have created an outstanding fragrance for gentlemen. Reminiscent of venture and adventuring, and inspired by heroic and powerful figures namely, Napoleon Bonaparte and Alexander The Great; Aventus is a heroic fragrance that is for the bold, spirited and confident. The intrepid explorer, the conquering warrior within all of us.

As the bottle motif suggests Aventus’s roots are very much in classicism however the fragrance itself is contemporary, forceful and roaring with energy.

A leather finish implies power and commands respect. It is no mistake either, that the Latin word for wind, ventis, is also implied; this is a mistral of a perfume sweeping across Europe picking up the finest notes in its wake.

Top note blackcurrant blends, with bergamot from Italy, whilst Calville Blanc apples mingle expertly with fruity pineapple.

The middle notes burst with roses, blooming amid dense birch. Jasmine blossom and patchouli combine to add to this woody but heady centre.

At the base is oak moss and ambergris and a light touch of vanilla, the final flourish of a sophisticated and intelligent, powerhouse-pairing of perfumers.

Aventus; prepare to be conquered. £128.00/ 75ml £155 / 120ml
