Weekend Shopping: Herne Hill SE21

With Half Moon Lane reopened Herne Hill is slowly recovering from the devastating effects of the flood. Local businesses need your support now more than ever, so make sure a trip to Herne Hill is part of your plans this weekend – there is so much to do and see.

Kindred Bakery, on Half Moon Lane, has been open throughout the crisis and others will follow, all of the other shops on Railton Road, Dulwich Road, Norwood Road are unaffected. We LOVE I Love Lowie, The Society For The Protection Of Unwanted Goods, Herne Hill Books, Gerty’s Gumballs and Louise Taylor Flowers, to name but a few.

On Saturday Oxfam is holding a drop off for donations outside the closed shop at 20 Half Moon Lane and there is the splendid Market on Railton Road on Sunday - where the Oxfam Bookshop will be putting in appearance too, as well as a a whole hosts of deli delights and arts and crafts.
