'It is a bright sunny day today in London and I am wearing Terrenico by Profumi Del Forte; an evocative and captivating scent. 

This clever fragrance draws you in deeper and deeper: as its cycle progresses and the scent truly develops the fennel jumps out and below the salty marine aromas swirl around. 

It takes me on a journey to memories and moments long past. I remember riding my bike down a sun-laden Melbourne boulevard; palm trees either side of my path, the ocean to my left lazily battering at the shore. My friend and I decide to pull up for some lunch, I choose an iced sparkling water with a large wedge of lemon and a fennel and orange salad, beautifully refreshing on such a warm day. As we progressed along the coast the landscape changes from city to dusty shrub land, sand dunes and bushes; leaving the throngs of people behind, we continue to ride forth into the hazy horizon.'

Bâtard Folding Picnic Knife by Lamson & Goodnow

As author of The Best Bread Ever; Charles Van Over is expected to show everywhere up with an armful of bread. Whilst Charles enjoys breaking bread with friends; he does insist that the bread is properly sliced with a breadknife, not just ripped apart. The problem here is that bread knives are very long and with their serrated edges they are not the easiest of things to carry around. Charles wondered why a folding bread knife could not be produced and took his idea for a pocket bread knife to Lamson & Goodnow, American manufacturers of the LamsonSharp range. The Bâtard Folding Picnic knife is the result of this collaboration. At Roullier White we believe this may possibly be the best picnic knife ever made.
