Today I’m wearing a fantastic late-summer fragrance from the stunningly talented Mary Greenwell. Making a name for herself as makeup artist to the stars, Mary launched her own line of fragrances back in 2010 and since then has continued to go from strength to strength with her stunningly rich and feminine compositions. Wonderfully fresh and uplifting, Lemon combines notes of beautifully fresh citrus in the top notes with a bouquet of precious florals in the heart, including jasmine, muguet, and narcissus which give the fragrance an exquisitely powdery background that offsets the sharp citruses perfectly. A mellow, refined base of amber, tonka bean, patchouli and precious woods yields a delicate dry down that unfolds slowly, its warm and comforting aromas mingling with the lighter notes before enveloping them entirely. A delicately multifaceted scent, Lemon is ideal for warm days and cool evenings.
