While I am in an Ottoman mood I thought I would conjure the beauty of Turkey with two outstanding scents. 'Istanbul' by Gallivant is a thoroughly modern interpretation of one of the world's most beautiful cities which sits rather precariously along a fault line! Egyptian geranium and cardamom explode from the bottle while the mystery and magic of the east is channelled via sweet myrrh, amber and musk. 'Rose Turkia' from Molinard is so pretty with the unmistakable rosewater scent of Turkish Delight! Violet petals are sprinkled across Turkish roses - the most sensual of all the roses - and sit astride a base of guiac and cedar. Very seductive!
I think I might book a holiday!
This w/e I have a date with a doctor - my mother is thrilled! - and, if the weather holds, will be out in the garden getting everything ship-shape for Spring which is coming at last!
Wishing you all a wonderful w/e,
Michaelx
