Today I'm Wearing: Morn to Dusk, by Eau D'Italie

Image
Today I'm wearing Morn to Dusk, a fabulous modern vanilla fragrance from the house of Eau D'Italie. Blending fresh notes of premium Italian citrus with a strikingly rich bourbon vanilla, the scent conjures a dreamlike feeling of tranquility with its uniquely rich character. After an opening of vibrant bergamot alongside refreshing freesia and bright green lily of the valley, the scent sinks down into a wonderfully beguiling and nuanced note of vanilla brimming with creamy depth. In the base, cedar wood and musk combine to give a robust finish to the scent that makes for a beautifully warming aroma that stays close to the skin. Created by prolific nose Annick Menardo, this is a vanilla scent that truly speaks to the prestige and experience of its creator.  To see our entire collection of exquisite Eau D'Italie fragrances, showcasing the very best of contemporary European perfumery, visit our website here .

Image
Artist, photographer, and designer, Roderick Barker-Benfield has spent the past two years creating intricate jewellery and accessories that combine his lifelong passion for creativity with a minute eye for detail with stunning results. We sat down with Rod to discuss his process, and the work that goes into sourcing and creating a pair of his exquisite 'Mr Darcy' cufflinks.  How long have you been creating bespoke jewellery and accessories? A couple of years now.  It all started as a happy accident whilst I was working on a small sculpture commission for a friend.  I thought the piece could benefit from a few small cogs so I ordered some online, but what actually showed up was a complete (and still working) watch movement.  I'd never seen anything so small and intricate before and decided it would look better mounted on a silver chain.  I'd just created my first piece of upcycled jewellery and Rodology was officially been born! How long does a...

Join us then, as we count down our top 5 scents for the season; sure to impress for all the right reasons! 1. Doe in the Snow , by 4160 Tuesdays Clean, bright, and ever so slightly frosty, Doe in the Snow is the scent of "citrus fruits, flowers, and woods, stirred with an icicle" according to maker Sarah McCartney. With notes of Japanese yuzu and bracingly fresh peach aldehyde, the scent is an efferves...
