Lawrence Roullier White was delighted to be asked to compile a Christmas Gift Guide based on our weekly local and independent shopping blog for Living South Resident . Following is an edited version of the three page article.  Christmas shopping does not have to be stressful, in fact if you chose to shop locally from our plethora of independent, speciality shops it can be rather fun; explore your neighbourhood, have a gossip, pick up some tips along the way and do your bit to help the local economy. South Londoners are very fortunate to have so many high quality local magazines in circulation, covering fashion, interiors, arts and beyond. We were absolutely delighted to see one of our favourites, Living South Resident , include two of our products in their recent Christmas Gift Guide. The rich and magnificent Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier was recommended as an ideal fragrant gift for women.     While the warm and dark Cuirs by Carner Barcelona is noted as a perfect present for men.

It's always an honour to see our name appear in the UK's longest running women's magazine, The Lady . For The Lady 's Countdown to Christmas issue, they picked our bottle of Acqua Colonia 'Blood Orange and Basil' Eau de Cologne as a perfect gift for him.   Blood Orange and Basil is a deeply stimulating fragrance that evokes memories of the Mediterranean and provides a welcome diversion from the daily grind . We've been lucky enough to receive some fantastic coverage in home interiors magazines, over the past month or so. Country & Town House included Mrs White's Stem Ginger Zingers in a delectable list of gifts for foodies. Elsewhere, Country Living featured our Squirrel Nutcracker in red: one of our top selling Xmas items. House Beautiful said our Vintage Stoneware Shortbread Baker is the ideal gift for cooks, and we couldn't agree more!

We're feeling rather flatted by the amount and variety of press coverage Roullier White's own all-natural brand, Mrs White's, has received over the past few weeks. Baby & Me chose to include ' Mrs White's Absolute Gentleman Moisturising Lotion ' alongside some other great gift ideas for grandparents. Luxury Lifestyle magazine, Exclusive , picked Mrs White's Glamour Puss Cat Grooming Spray as an ideal gift for anyone with 'fashionable felines'. Elsewhere, Homes & Interiors Scotland ,   recommended Mrs White's How Handy Intensive Hand & Cuticle Cream and Mrs White's Stem Ginger Zingers in a rundown of essential stocking fillers. Finally, women's magazine  Prima  included Mrs White's Epiphany Christmas Hamper in their Christmas gift guide. We lucky locals of East Dulwich are delighted this weekend to welcome back lovely Lush Designs . After the huge success of their recent pop-up shop the divine design-duo, Marie Rodgers and Maria Livings, have set up permanent shop just opposite Roullier White on Lordship Lane and we are all thrilled. break Many years ago I was wowed by a box of vegetable napkins I bought from the original Lush Designs shop in Greenwich. Today is a super fun Saturday shopping day; Alistair Kenward’s fabulous Rye Books is celebrating its second birthday. Happy Birthday! Pop along at 2 pm for lots of fun and frivolity. It's hard to believe we're already in the run up to the  festive period .
