Barbecue At home I am completely surrounded by lovely antipodean neighbours ( 2 Australians and a Kiwi ) and so am in the perfect position to announce that Barbecue season is officially open! The Barbecue Bible Buy Now I will admit to being a latecomer to the joys of the barbie. As a vegetarian I have spent too many years munching on badly cooked sweetcorn while listening to the ecstatic moaning of those tucking into chops and hamburger to really appreciate the nuances of grilling!  However all that changed when I discovered a seminal publication from the US grandiosely entitled 'The Barbecue Bible'. The author is, apparently, the undisputed King of the Grill and 500 is a lot of recipes, including vegetarian dishes, salads and some great puddings too.
