Banana Coladas, Summer Scarves, Baby Feet, The Return Of Rigaud, Salad Love, Design Classics & Corking Mats! Good Morning! Hasn't the weather been absolutely glorious! My garden is back under control, with all the bushes neatly trimmed apart from the ivy as this has several pairs of sparrows nesting in it, so I shall have to wait until the chicks have fledged. This happens almost every year - I intend to trim before the bird's nest so that I don't disturb them and they always beat me to it! It's a lovely problem to have. Unfortunately the GD took a tumble down my stairs at the w/e and has a sprained ankle. I have learned that Dr's do not make very good patients and that my house has too many stairs - especially when carrying trays up and down them. It's The Simple Things, Mossie Alert, Marbellous, Nifty Nightwear, Glorious Food, Pigs And Pots & A Good Deed ! Good Morning! What a strange week it has been - roasting at the w/e and freezing on Monday/Tuesday! I stayed in Hove on Saturday as the weather was so beautiful and thought that I would share a couple of Beach Huts that made me smile as we walked the Prom! 'Hove Actually' is a famous, indignant reposte when locals are asked if they live in Brighton!  If there is anything positive to be learned from this horrendous period it is, perhaps, that the pandemic has caused us to pause and look up (or down in my case!). One's perception, caught up in the frenetic pace at which we have been living, can become clouded and this period of isolation has certainly brought me perspective and more than a modicum of gratitude for just how lucky I am and how beautiful the world can be, even in the midst of chaos.
